Le Narval – Un Verre d’Amitié
(The Narval – A Toast to Friendship)

Co-production: Hanuri Opera Arts Company and Radio France Choir Soloists
(In production)
French-language music-theatre work.
Commemorating the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France, the work reimagines a true story from 1851, when the French whaling ship Le Narval drifted to the Korean island of Bigeum and local villagers rescued its sailors.
Rather than a tale of conflict, this forgotten episode reveals how the first encounter between the two nations began through compassion and humanity — revived here as a poetic reflection on friendship and empathy.

Christmas fantasy music theatre combining ten beloved carols with ensemble and choral performance.

Motoyama’s score merges cinematic orchestration, refined rhythmic minimalism, and Korean lyrical sensibility, creating an emotionally charged yet classically grounded soundscape.
